                mythfrontend seems to have been taken seriously by many
                folks. There are no plans for that, in fact we plan to
                expand the frontend to support Android TV devices like
                the NVidia Shield.<br>

              Please send an announcement when the Shield port is
              available. I've been using a mix of Plex and HDHomeRun DVR
              for twoish years now, ever since my backend asploded. I'd
              like to get back into the game and have a Shield, along
              with other Android boxes throughout my house.<br>

    I expect it will be officially available when MythTV version 30 is
    released. I am not sure of the schedule for that. If you want to use
    it before then you will need to use V30 prerelease code for the
    backend and frontends.<br>
