I am using stereo RCA audio for the time being, but are you saying the Colossus2 supports component + SPDIF (AC-3 5.1) currently? I was going to patch your code to accept, but silently ignore, that option for the time being. Can you send me the output from `hauppauge2 --list`?<br><br>Make sure you have it configured for the correct inputs; both audio and video. At least with the HD-PVR1, it would fail to capture even video, if it did not detect audio.<br></div><div><br>If you can send me the log, I might spot something, but no guaranty, since I don't know what most of the Hauppauge stuff means. If using the config file, you may have to set override-loglevel to info or debug to get information from the Hauppauge 'driver'.<br><br></div><div>John<br><br></div><div>PS. For use with MythTV, I am coming to the conclusion that the Colossus2 is superior to the HD-PVR2. For example, it has better support for 5.1 audio.<br><br></div></div></div>
