</span>Well, in that case... might it be that mythfrontend actually is the<br>
culprit? If ircat, using the same lircrc, actually delivers the first<br>
button press which otherwise is dropped then lirc actually seems OK to me.<br>

Like I mentioned, I use redhat derivatives and do not see this issue (nor have I ever), so I cannot replicate it here.
