    I can confirm that DVB-S2 scanning does work on version 29. I raised
    ticket  13095 to cover an issue just with the transport editor,
    basic scanning worked fine. The interface is difficult to use
    however depending on which theme you are running. I normally use
    Steppes but found this task to be easier in MythCenter.<br>
    The easiest way to test the card is to install 'kaffeine'. This has
    a very simple setup mechanism for selecting the satellite and
    setting up the LNB. Make sure you have killed mythbackend though.<br>
