<pre wrap="">You are getting "connection refused". The connection to
dd.schedulesdirect.org requires authentication - if I try it, I get
back a "401 Unauthorized" message. </pre>

<br>
The current Firefox (57.0 - Ubuntu) gave me just an 'unable to
connect' page; not sure what Firefox displays a 401, etc., with the
new version.<br>

<pre wrap="">The detailed debug data is not
quite sufficient to show if that is what is happening at the packet
level, but my first guess would be that the authentication data is not
being sent, or invalid authentication is being sent. So check where
ever that authentication data is stored to see if it is still valid.
Since I do not use Schedules Direct, I do not know where the userid
and password are stored - it might be in the MythTV settings
somewhere. It looks like that data gets set up when you configure
your video source to use the DataDirect grabber - it prompts you at
that time for the information it needs.

I've been semi-trying to look for that file, hopefully with a clue
from Google search. Now will have to try harder!<br>
<br>
So far we know something broke here with an upgrade I did around
November 10th but hasn't been fixed with a subsequent update/upgrade
function.<br>

To test your login, go to: <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext"

<br>
login and select the Lineup Support tab on the left. Look
<br>
for the line:
<br>

Check the raw data in your application or HERE to rule out
application problems.
<br>
<br>
and click on HERE. If that works, then your login info is OK.

It (Schedules Direct) displayed a very long listing of which I
scanned recognized a couple local stations and TV listings so
appears that is working correctly. I also logged in automatically
and manually to make sure the username and password hadn't been
altered from my notes.<br>
<br>
Did see this at the top of the page:<br>
<blockquote>
<div id="user_errors">
<div class="warning">
<h3>Warning:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Unable to fetch SD-JSON lineups</li>
</ul>
</div>
</div>
<h2>Report a Lineup Problem</h2>
</blockquote>
but I think that is more of a general announcement than to me
specifically. OTOH might be a clue.<br>

Compare the User ID/Password in mythtv-setup->Video
Sources->Listings grabber

Do this for ALL Video Sources that use Schedules Direct.

<br>
Above is via mythtv-setup -- will have to do that after the soaps
record -- and I don't watch but..... (So will get back on that
later this afternoon.) Have checked one or two sources prior and
the user name is correct, password is hidden but typed in manually
and appears to be the same length. There is an issue where a few
entries from the bottom of that page the "pc:52722" blanks after the
password updating. The field has to do with SchedulesDirect and
should be an auto-fill by them.<br>
<br>
Will upload this and continue after the soaps.<br>
<br>
Thanks for the tips!<br>
