<div dir="ltr">Greetings Mythizens, I'm toying
with a remote FE, to now everything has been in
a combined box. The tutorial I see taslk about
altering mythtv service via Mythbuntu Control
Center to allow remote FE's. Is there another
way to effect this change? Secondly, I'm not
certain which port to use (default 80) or
something found in setup? My attempts with
Mythling have given varrious error mesages, I
assume because of the first hurdle. Thanks

You need to run mythtv-setup on your backend, go into the first
option and check the ip address settings. Make sure your server IP
and master backend IP are an externally visible IP address, i.e. not
127.0.0.1.<br></div></blockquote><div><br></div><div>Did this </div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><div text="#000000" bgcolor="#FFFFFF">
