Is anybody able to help with my original question?<br><br></blockquote><div>Note that there is a "menu theme" which is different than the interface or visual theme. The menu theme controls what and where items are displayed in the navigation menus; the visual theme controls the layout and appearance of the recordings, videos, etc. screens. I'm not in front of my MythTV system and I don't remember where you can select it, but it's possible/probable that your new frontend is using a different menu theme than your original frontend.
