Now as a test, I created my own M3U file with just the<br>

I'm guessing that what you are seeing isn't some simple redirection but a validation based on username and password and probably your IP address and maybe other information as well.<br>
<br>
Are you attempting to use myth to receive streams that would normally go to a set-top box? If so, you are almost certainly breaking your Terms and Conditions and are likely describing activities which could be illegal, depending on your jurisdiction.<br>
