Hi,

I've been a big MythBuntu fan for a long time. Are people switching to something like LinHes or are you rolling your own with Debian or ???

I really liked the ease of install that Mythbuntu gave me, and I'm looking to replace that. I'm still running .27
No need for concerns, mythbuntu 16.04 will be around for some time, it is based on Ubuntu 16.04 which is supported until Apr-2021 (End of Life).

You can always install mythtv using the mythtv PPA's which are continuing, on say Xubuntu - I have done this with no problems. See https://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Installing_MythTV_on_Ubuntu
I was under the impression that 16.04 was .28 only. I'm still on .27
