    I looked at the picture and I see some white marks that appear in
    certain dark places on the screen. Is this what you refer to? It
    does not look like any theme layout. Which part of the theme layout
    does this look like to you? If you have "bleed through" you would
    see the "Please Wait" message showing through (on Mythcenter wide or
    Steppes), or whatever is used on your theme just before a video
    starts playing. That is the background over which the video is
    painted.<br>
    <br>
    It seems to be some sort of VDPAU problem. There are some
    troubleshooting tips in the wiki.<br>
    <a class="m_-252614146028636156moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://www.mythtv.org/wiki/VDPAU" target="_blank">https://www.mythtv.org/wiki/<wbr>VDPAU</a><br>
    Did you disable "composite"? I always need to do that, but it
    normally fixes tearing, not white flecks.<br>
    <br>
    Do the white marks stay where they are on the picture or move
    around?<br>
    <br>
    Most 720p broadcasts are 60fps. Maybe it is the 60fps causing the
    problem rather than the 720p size.<br>
    <br>
    A work-around that you could use is to set up a new playback profile
