Figured this one out (newbie!  Thank Goodness for Google and people who post questions and answer!):<BR>

<TT>locate mythtv-setup | grep /mythtv-setup$</TT>    yields   <TT>/usr/bin/mythtv-setup </TT>  -- you suggested it should be in /usr/local/bin.   <BR>

The 'mythtv-setup' portion is in a pinkish red (coral?), since the colours seem to have some meaning.<BR>

...Exploring a little -- it's a batch file!!  (at /usr/bin/mythtv-setup).    (OK, 'script'?)<BR>

Go to /usr/local/bin -- it seems to be empty: 'ls' displays nothing and goes to the next command line.   ...Testing/snooping: at /usr/local enter 'ls /etc' and that displays ton of stuff in blue and white -- blue must be directories and white files.<BR>
