I wrote a Perl script which runs on my Master Backend and reports on recordings in each Storage Directory of the 'Default' Storage Group. I started it out of curiosity about where my recordings were going - which of the 2 (local) Directories I have - and then I just carried on with other ideas. Could be handy for space planning (it recognizes expiring recordings for proper accounting), or even just a list of what you've got and where it is. It's got limitations (see the script) but it seems like a useful concept, and something I'd like to see in MythWeb or its replacement.

There's an example there too - it's over the list's size limit for attachments.

Is it kosher to make a Wiki page for it, add a little description, and then point to my site to download it? Or maybe I should get a GitHub account?
