No, I don't think this will solve my problem, but I do know that the CPU issue did cause problems before and want to fix it.<br /><br />This is an AMD system where the bus speed is turned down together with the CPU. I found earlier that 2.3 MHz is the CPU frew where the problems disappear. Regarding the GPU, I haven't noticed any problems directly related to it, but do see the frequency jumping up and down (mostly down) when in adaptive mode. As I don't want to be wasting power when not playing back, I thought the playback events were the place to set it.<br /><br />I am using nvidia 358 with vdpau high quality playback profile.
