I've had a fairly stable setup with 2x HD-PVR's and a mceusb IR receiver/blaster for a several years. After recently upgrading to Fedora 23 from 22, and with it the 4.3 I've had some show stopper issues. The HD-PVR's will lock up after a few minutes of use consistently and need a power cycle to fix and my IR receiver started acting erratically, recording multiple key presses when they were only pressed once and not detecting others. I believe the issue is all related to the HD-PVR's however as I have another Fedora 23 system running 4.3.3 with an identical mceusb IR receiver/remote combination (but no HD-PVR's) which has no problems at all (and yes I've swapped the hardware). It seems someone has reported a similar/same issue with Debian and 4.3: https://lists.debian.org/debian-kernel/2016/01/msg00235.html.<br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div><br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div>As a workaround I've downgraded to a 4.2 kernel and all my HD-PVR/LIRC issues went away. Although, after 8-9 days both of my HD-PVR's stopped getting a lock at the same time and the only fix I was able to find was a reboot. Nothing in logs that helped either. I've had the odd lockup every once in awhile but never that happen so I've not sure 4.2 works entirely reliably either.<br data-mce-bogus="1"></div></div><pre>_______________________________________________
