As of 0.9.2+, <br clear="none">there is no "standard" mceusb.lircd.conf being part of the lirc <br clear="none">distribution - all lircd.conf files have been dropped from lirc and <br clear="none">lives in the separate lirc-remotes project.<br clear="none"><br clear="none">OTOH, recent updates to lirc-remotes have been changing the key symbols <br clear="none">to use the namespace symbols listed by irrecord -l (which are the same <br clear="none">as used by the kernel). This means that (almost) all lircd.conf files <br clear="none">uses the same key symbols and that the mythtv lircrc actually could be <br clear="none">generic and work with any remote, at least as a starter (things like <br clear="none">repeat suppression might still need some tweaking).<br clear="none"><br clear="none">Bottom line: in modern lirc there is no standard mceusb.lircd.conf, but <br clear="none">there could be a standard mythtv lircrc. Upcoming 0.9.4 will contain <br clear="none">such a lircrc file.<br clear="none"><br clear="none">Ancient 0.9.0 is different: it contains some lircd.conf files, and those <br clear="none">all uses their own set of key symbols.
