<div dir="ltr">Hey Everyone,<div><br></div><div>So I'm trying to get mythbrake or mythconvert setup on my slave backends so the master can just worry about doing the recordings and I want my slaves to worry about handling all of the jobs.  Why?  Well my slaves are VMs and the hosts that they're on are quite beefy so I've had my 2 slaves running there for quite some time and they flag commercials like good champs.  </div><div><br></div><div>So I went here</div><div><br></div><div><a href="https://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Mythconvert">https://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Mythconvert</a> </div><div>and</div><div><a href="https://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Mythbrake">https://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Mythbrake</a></div><div><br></div><div>But when the jobs run they just fail immediately.  I turned on the debug flag in the scripts to see if I could see anything that really stood out to me as oh theres the problem but I couldn't really find anything.  Is it an issue with these scripts to use the path as myth://?  <br clear="all"><div><br></div><div>this is what mythconvert was called with</div><div><br></div><div><div>/home/mythtv/scripts/mythconvert.sh "myth://bishop/2253_20151013162900.ts" "2253_20151013162900.ts" "2253" "20151013162900" "Bewitched" "A' Is for Aardvark" "Sitcom "</div></div><div><br></div><div>and mythbrake was called with this</div><div><br></div><div><div>/home/mythtv/scripts/mythbrake.sh "myth://bishop/2254_20151013165900.ts" "2254_20151013165900.ts" "2254" "20151013165900" "Bait Car" "New Orleans" "Law "</div></div><div><br></div><div>I mean I guess if these have to run on the master then I'll move em there but I'd rather they run from the slaves.  </div><div><br></div><div>I'm currently running myth master (0.28)  Thank you all for your help with this because well I'd like to move some of the recordings that I enjoy watching over and over off to my share.</div><div><br></div>-- <br><div class="gmail_signature">Jason </div>
