<div dir="ltr">Hi!<div><br></div><div>I'm running Ubuntu 14.04 amd64 for my backend and just upgraded mythbackend to:</div><div><br></div><div>0.27.5+fixes.20150921.fbd5ef3-0ubuntu0mythbuntu3<br></div><div><br></div><div>I have a frontend using mythbuntu and upgraded to:</div><div><br></div><div>0.27.5+fixes.20150921.fbd5ef3-0ubuntu0mythbuntu3<br></div><div><br></div><div>After upgrading, I noticed that my nagios /Service/GetStatus started flapping because it couldn't return the guidedays properly.  No alarm there since it's not the first time it's done it...so I didn't think much of it.  </div><div><br></div><div>I then was using Kodi and tried to flip the channel and it just hung up.  Again, I've had issues with Kodi, so didn't think much of it.  </div><div><br></div><div>I booted up my trusty mythfrontend and it just sat there repeating:</div><div><br></div><div><div>Sep 25 10:28:16 myth-fe mythfrontend.real: mythfrontend[1468]: C SendMessage mythcorecontext.cpp:1520 (CheckProtoVersion) Protocol version check failure.#012#011#011#011The response to MYTH_PROTO_VERSION was empty.#012#011#011#011This happens when the backend is too busy to respond,#012#011#011#011or has deadlocked due to bugs or hardware failure.</div><div>Sep 25 10:28:16 myth-fe mythfrontend.real: mythfrontend[1468]: I SendMessage mythcorecontext.cpp:426 (ConnectCommandSocket) MythCoreContext: Connecting to backend server: <a href="http://10.0.110.3:6543">10.0.110.3:6543</a> (try 1 of 1)</div></div><div><br></div><div>I checked the backend service and it was indeed using 100% Utilization with nothing going on and the backend not giving any hints.  Restarted the service and things are now fine.</div><div><br></div><div>Since I've had a couple of weird things happen thismorning, I was wondering if anybody else was having issues with this upgraded version of myth.  </div><div><br></div><div>Thanks,</div><div>Mike</div></div>
