Yes.  I've been having some issues with the metadata grabber<br>
integration lately that I haven't figured out.  Sometimes, after the<br>
transcode, the metadata lookup fails and the file doesn't get inserted<br>
into the mythvideo database correctly.  I haven't had time to track<br>
that down yet, but MX Player can play the content just fine.<br>

I've watched a bunch of movies on my Note 4, and many more on my S3<br>
before that.  I'd rather be on the couch with a bigger screen most of<br>
the time, but I find it a better way to watch content that might not<br>
be entirely appropriate for my kids (my youngest is not quite six<br>
yet).<br>

<p dir="ltr">I first would like to ask which version of MythTV you are running? We have had issues getting reliable transcoded on some versions of v0.27. Moving to v0.28 solved that problem.</p>
