My HDPVR1 will lock up with the blue recording light on and the only
way to unlock it is to power cycle it. Other times it will output
large green squares on the recording which sometimes will cause myth
to lock up. It's just becoming a bit unreliable which is hurting the

Thats good to hear it is pretty solid. Personally I don't mind the
risk, I'm typing this on my baytrail chrome book re-flashed with
core boot and beta ubuntu 15.10 so taking risks isn't to concerning
if I have a feeling that it'll work out. I just don't want it to be
totally flaky and crashing every couple of minutes.
0.28 only? If that's the case I'll upgrade next week sometime and
when you are ready I'd be happy to do some testing for you.
Are you thinking integrated into myth or external recorder with
scripts? Reading the wiki about the external recorder makes me think
I could hash something together to get it working.
