Good question I'm not sure since I haven't ran fedora in quite sometime, I do run centos on my servers but was never a fan of fedora. I will have some time later in the week to try some stuff and can let you know but it will be towards the end of the week, just have to many other issues at the moment. :(<br>

I run CentOS on my servers too. I was forced to Fedora because of the Livas. Neither CentOS 6 nor 7 support the eMMC memory in the Livas. 6 is completely unaware of eMMC. 7 knows about eMMC but not the newer type used by the Liva.<div class=""><div class="h5"><br>

to here but for desktops thats what I tend to run. I know they support
the liva also. Speaking of the liva thats another issue that I have
sitting on my table unused, uggh so many things to do and not enough
time. I can take a peak at openelec and see what they are doing but I
was using it with my liva running openelec when I was using it and it
worked OTB without any issues and they are running a fairly new kernel.<br><br>I know you don't want to run openelec but if you install it on a USB flashdrive just to boot and test the IR receiver, might at least point to what is causing the issue, maybe it is a bad device but need more testing.<br></div></div><br></div></div>
