<p dir="ltr">If problems arise use compression fittings and get rid of the screw on, they're cheap not economical.</p>

Thanks again to all. I have RG6 cables with screw-on connectors and very<br>
short runs (a high-rise apartment) so it sounds like I'll be good. I<br>
vaguely remember ~9 years ago when I set up my original box I had the cable<br>
guy out because my PVR-500 wasn't as crisp as I expected and he actually<br>
found (if an aging memory serves) that the line was a bit "hot". I'm happy<br>
to save the $40 cost of an amp.<br>
