To be a little more specific (though still ask for advice before doing), you'll need to prepare the DB for the UTC conversion.  Note, though, that you will be able to use current MythTV to upgrade from a 0.23 database, so your system (while ancient) isn't so old that you'll have to upgrade to an interim version of MythTV and let it upgrade your database, then upgrade to current MythTV.  Current MythTV can upgrade any 0.22 or higher database version.<br>
