<div dir="ltr">I'm sure you have more flexibility, but it also requires more work. I would like to use the transcoding feature out of the box, but it doesn't seem to work for me at all. </span>I think most people who do transcoding (other than the lossless<br>
"transcoding" used for commercial cutting) use a custom user job,<br>
rather than the built in transcoder in mythtv. Once you write your<br>
own script, you have lots of additional flexibility.<br>
