It's odd because when the channel switches to a show in 720p, you will see<br>
"HD 1080" at the bottom.  If you wait until that goes away and then hit<br>
'I", you will see "HD 720" at the bottom....<br>

Don't forget that any resolution may change because of program changes, ad breaks, etc. So the first value you saw may very well be correct, if it catches some frames before the program actually begins. Later, it will show values during the program.<span class="HOEnZb"><font color="#888888"><br>
