<p dir="ltr">Hello.  I've had a HDPVR working nicely on Mythbuntu for quite some time now.  The other day, it quit.  Cycling the power and rebooting the machine had no effect.  Normally when I do this the amber light on the device comes on briefly during boot.  But it is not coming on--just the blue front panel power light.</p>
<p dir="ltr">I went to test with cat /dev/video0, and found that there is no device with that name in /dev.  In fact there is no device with any name beginning with video.  </p>
<p dir="ltr">I am hoping the HDPVR hasn't gone south and the configuration has just gotten hosed somehow.  Can anyone suggest troubleshooting steps? I'd like to know how to determine if the HDPVR is trashed, and if not how to get it reconnected.</p>
