</div></div>It's a matter of choice... Your choice. What do you seem worst,<br>
loosing the recording data since the last backup or not being able to<br>
record. Off cause you can import those recordings in the video<br>
database! And this is what you make backups for!<br>

you don't know what caused it, so it can happen again!<br>
I believe you have done an import before and that is quite straight<br>
forward. There is no upgrade in parallel.<br>
The important thing beforehand is to get a working empty mysql<br>
database, so if you cannot log-in to the database to dump it, you have<br>
to stop the mysql service, clean-out the /var/lib/mysql directory and<br>
to be sure reinstall mysql fresh. From there you can find it all in<br>
the wiki.<br>
To be able to look further into the problem and if you have the<br>
disk space, you can move the old /var/lib/mysql directory to another<br>
