There's a development effort underway to, among other things, change<br>
the two-level capturce card and card input model that MythTV has used<br>

from many other "things" like local boxes connected by USB and<br>

But then, I think we would need to do something about existing "Video Source" label, too.  I think that should be named "Guide Source" or "Listings Source".<span class="HOEnZb"><font color="#888888"></font></span><br></blockquote></div><br></div><div class="gmail_extra">Sometimes that is only channel tuning data, not necessarily listings. That's why I suggested "Channel Data" because primarily it is a list of channels (lineup) that a given input/source/whatever is able to record programs from. The program listings are associated with the channels but not necessarily in a 1:1 relationship (program listings could be re-used for multiple lineups).<br><br></div><div class="gmail_extra">Karl<br></div></div>
