I only use OTA, so I am not familiar with the issues at
hand, but I am a little bit curious. Did Silicondust
actually implement firmware to respect the copy flags?
What would compel them to do that? Is it because the
cable card now enforces the protection?
So certification is required before the cable card will work?

Never mind. Just looked it up. Basically, the cable card will only
work after it verifies the certification of the HDPVR. Basically,
the cable companies have found another way to screw over MythTV
