Smart TV is a complete waste of time for me and actually causes more problems. My LG 60” is on it’s 5th mother board. The last 2 I have had to put in myself since it is now out of warranty. My favorite TV is a 50” Changhong <a href="http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16889624014" class="">http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16889624014</a> I bought from NewEgg for next to nothing. It has a great picture but a crappy remote and poor sound which is not a problem with my set-up. I really thought I was going to get a piece of junk since it cost less than $300 but I was pleasantly surprised. I have never had any issues in Myth with this or audio sync, but I have an old receiver that gets audio via RCA out from the TV.<br class=""><br class="">Beware, though, that the "fancy" 120Hz sets also often add image processing (soap-opera effect), which many people don't care for but can usually be disabled.
