execute reboot/shutdown. You will probably need to add a line like this to
/etc/suders:

mythtv ALL = NOPASSWD: /sbin/reboot, /sbin/halt, /sbin/shutdown

This assumes that "mythtv" is the user that runs mythfrontend. And the
proper way to edit /etc/suders is:

sudo visudo

If the line: #includedir /etc/sudoers.d appears in /etc/sudoers, then,
as I just posted, put the changes in /etc/sudoers.d/mythtv (which may
already be there.) Both ways work, sudoers.d is preferred.
