I’m am trying to migrate my Mythtv Backend to Centos7. I have
all the MythTV stuff installed (Thanks <font class=""
color="black" face="Verdana,Arial,Helvetica" size="2">Stephen
Collier). My issue is with Lirc. It seems that CentOS7 does
not have the l</font><font class="" face="Verdana, Arial,
Helvetica" size="2">irc_serial.ko file. The lirc-0.9.1a rpm
does not include it either.</font>

Just curious why you need lirc on your *backend*. Normally lirc is
a *fronted* kind of thing.<br>

I feel for you. lirc has always been a bugaboo on my own CentOS
frontends. That's why I never upgrade them once I get them
working. I think I'm still running 6.2.<br>

And please share your experiences upgrading. Us CentOS/EL folk seem
to be a rare breed here and are looked upon with some distaste here.
