the STB diagnostic mode, and then select current
channel status. The flags (and other useful info)
are there.<br>

Of course, you are now going to have to wait nearly a year for the next game (or find another
sport that Fox is setting flags on).<br>

I have two open tickets there: (1) 702, 705 and 706 encrypting certain programs such as the World Series or certain NFL football games; and (2) The CCI incorrectly set at 0X02 instead of 0X00 on 702, 705 and 706.<br><br>On the first problem, the customer service rep said that the encryption group advised her that my problem was the HDHomeRun Prime and that I should use Tivo or WMC instead. I told her to tell them that I was the customer and that my preferred DVR is MythTV. I told her to try again. She said that I will have to call when a program is actually being
encrypted, which did not happen last weekend. She left that ticket open. I will have to check every time an NFL game is broadcast to see if it is being encrypted.<br><br>On the second problem, she said she created a new ticket and is forwarding the issue to the encryption group. She understood that FCC rules dictate that the CCI flag I see on the STB should be 0X00 for all but the premium channels.<br><br></div><div class="gmail_extra">Bob Shanteau<br></div></div>
