I don't see any such line in /var/log/Xorg.0.log.<br>
<br>
Now I'm using a custom EDID file:<br>
<br>
[286256.501] (**) NVIDIA(0): Option "ConnectedMonitor" "DFP-1"<br>
[286256.501] (**) NVIDIA(0): Option "CustomEDID"
"DFP-1:/var/lib/mythtv/Hitachi-p60x901-EDID.bin"<br>
<br>
This allows me to boot my front end without the TV being on but the
video card is still configured correctly for when it *is* turned on.
As I recall, I ran X in verbose mode with the TV on, this dumped the
EDID info in hexadecimal to the log file. I then extracted that info
and wrote a perl script to convert it back to binary.<br>
<br>
The closest info I see in the log is:<br>
<br>
[286257.576] (--) NVIDIA(0): Valid display device(s) on GeForce GT
430 at PCI:1:0:0<br>
