total disaster but 304 is stable with dvb-t in the <st1:country-region
w:st="on">uk</st1:country-region>, mpeg2 standard

Ok, I'm running an onboard nvidia 9400 (IIRC).<br>
So following from instructions in the thread you referneced I've :<br>

# sudo apt-get remove --purge nvidia*<br>
# sudo apt-get install nvidia-304 nvidia-settings <br>

I'll reboot the box and we'll see how it goes. Hopefully it's a
fix. Fingers crossed ;)<br>

I must report a big negative on this. It made no difference.<br>
(actually it got worse, with the screensaver not even getting
open-gl).<br>
I also tried with nvidia-311.<br>

Today I'm going to try to backup the database & recordings, and
re-install.<br>
