In no particular order for a cause: a dying hard drive, a very slow<br>
ethernet connection, and overly busy backend<br>

</div></div></blockquote></div><br></div><div class="gmail_extra">Ok, so I recorded the same NFL game on 2 different SBEs each with it's own HDPVR today to try to isolate the issue to a hard drive, etc. We were able to watch the recordings at first, but then stopped it to switch TVs. Now both recordings won't play back at all on any of my 4 FEs<br><br></div><div class="gmail_extra">Thinking more about JYAs suggestions:<br><br>dying hard drive - seems unlikely since I can scp the file to a windows machine and play it back with vlc just fine. Also these BEs get a lot of use with shorter recordings that play back just fine. I also moved this recording to a 3rd backend and see the same errors there.<br><br>a very slow
ethernet connection - I see the same error when the FE and BE are on the same machine<br><br></div><div class="gmail_extra">overly busy backend - I still have this problem after the recording stops. I don't allow any jobs to run on these backends as they are SBEs.
