I'm probably being stupid here but can't I just renumber the affected channels using mythweb, settings channel, channum field? I tried it yesterday on Russia Today as a test and livetv switching and a recording seemed to work ok.<br>

The OP's script needs to also update the xmltvid fields. In my (painful) experience this job takes the longest, especially since the xmltv team have now made it so hard to get hold of a definitive list.<span class="HOEnZb"><font color="#888888"><br>
