to run the shutdown command you have defined in the mythtv settings
without being prompted for password. Usually it looks something like

Evidently the version war took the thread completely off track. Still unsolved is the issue of Exit and Shutdown which worked properly in Mythbuntu 12.04/0.27.3 and quit working in Mythbuntu 14.04/<a href="http://0.27.3." target="_blank">0.27.3.</a> Has that been dealt with somewhere I haven't seen? Am I the only one to encounter the problem?<div class="HOEnZb">
