Greetings all

I've recently started to get a problem with the USB ports on my Zotac ION
frontend. Everything will be playing fine, and continues to play but the
MCE remote stops dead. Looking in the kernel log I see the following:

Jun 1 21:09:48 zotac kernel: irq 22: nobody cared (try booting with the
"irqpoll" option)
Jun 1 21:09:48 zotac kernel: Pid: 0, comm: swapper/0 Tainted: P
O 3.4.9-gentoo #6

How long have you been running this circa 2012 kernel? There were some reports of 3.4 kernels with similar call traces https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1142892 but nothing definitive. Some disabled or delayed wireless startup, or blacklisted btusb, or upgraded to 3.5.
