My house is wired with gigabit ethernet. I'm using MediaPortal to supply PVR functionality to XBMC clients throughout the house. So, the first thing I wanted to test was live TV. I've read lots of concerns about mpeg2 and Live TV support... I just ordered fire tv from staples for 56 dollars I had 25 of 75 coupon (ebay has lots of them) Staples has coupon for 25% cash back so that 18 cash back. </div>
<div>Fire tv has 2gb of ram and quad cpu. it cost as much raspberry pi will cost when you add remote sd card, case and power supply. </div></div>
