is the only method that allows recording high definition copy<br>
controlled content. The 1212 also produces MPEG-4 recordings,<br>
compared with MPEG-2 on Comcast cable, resulting in a smaller file on<br>
disk for the same quality recording.<br>

Getting closed captioning to work on an HDPVR is a bit tricky, though.<br>
You'll need an additional standard definition analog recorder for<br>
that, such as a PVR 150.<br>
