</div>Oh, and it should then be outside the dhcp-pool of the router. It's<br>
improbable, but to prevent double assignment, when the machine is off<br>
for longer.<br>

<br></div></div></blockquote><div><br></div><div>Thanks. I already had the router assign an IP address based on MAC address. Albeit, it is an address inside the dhcp-pool, but the router is pretty good at reserving addresses assigned to a MAC address even if it is within the pool.<br>
