<div dir="ltr"><div>Lately, I've been having troubles with my mythtv boxes where some, but not all of my recordings aren't playable through mythfrontend. If a given recording has the issue, it happens every time, and on every mythfrontend in my house. When I try to watch one of the affected recordings, I get about a 10 second pause with the 'Please Wait' message, and then the 'End of Recording" dialog box comes up against a blank screen. I have both an HD-PVR and an HD-Homerun, and so far I have only seen the problem on recordings done with the HD-PVR (But only a fraction of the recordings done with that device) The video files themselves play just fine with VLC on my Windows box, which is how I've been watching these programs so far, to work around the issue. I'm using the most recent 0.27 rpms from rpmfusion, and with -v playback enabled, this is what I see when the issue occurs. First, I'll get the 'Taking too long to be allowed to read' message spammed for 10 seconds, then the 10 second timeout message, and then when the 'End of Recording' dialog pops up, it spams the 'decoding error' message until I respond to the dialog. Anybody have any idea what might be going on?<br>
