My last issue video jitty every 10 secs was solved by
switching <span

kernel 3.11.0-15-generic to 3.13.3-lowlatency</span>. I
also disabled audio upconversion, enabled realtime
threads, and checked the audio extra buffering. I also
disabled the window manager and started X using a custom
.xsession with just launched the frontend.</div>

vdpau/vaapi, you may tweak the system until you have
