Couldn't really see that and wondered if I'd have to run that utility on it.<br></div><br></blockquote><div><br></div></div></div><div>From what I read (on Newegg), it's sort of a middle ground between the WD green and blue drives, but a commenter said that it does shut down and requires about 2 seconds to access again, so you will probably want to run the wdidle3 utility (or idle3-tools in linux) to disable it or at least increase the timeout (my green drive is set to 5 minutes).<span class="HOEnZb"><font color="#888888"></font></span><br>
