AFAICT there<br>
are no error messages in any of the logs (dmesg, kern.log,

Top strut value for application window 0x1800004 confined

I don't have a graphics card, I'm using a H55 intel board

At least mythfrontend works fine in 13.10 recovery mode so
I will try to<br>
find out what recovery mode does differently.<br>

<div>I tried to use Mythbuntu on 13.04 Ubuntu and ran into
problems. The bottom line is that Mythbuntu is not able to
work past Ubuntu 12.10 and they advise that you stick with
12.04 until 14.04 is released. <br>
</div>
<div>You can do as I have....which is to only install mythtv
in Ubuntu 13.04 and up.<br>

Hi William,<br>
<br>
I've got it working now. I fixed the AptMessageDialog problem myself
by editing the python script. Now I have fixed the blank screen
problem by following the advice here:<br>
