</div>Well, it's not actually a MythTV problem, is it? I mean, if you can<br>
cat /dev/videoX > test.mpg and end up with a 4:3 video file, that<br>
means the problem has to be at a lower layer. Maybe posting about<br>
this problem on the video4linux mailing list would be more<br>
appropriate?<br>

Alternatively, if you have a Windows machine, you could test the HDPVR<br>
under Windows and see if it also sees the same problem. If it does,<br>
then you're probably best raising this issue with Hauppaugue support.<br>
