<div dir="ltr"><div><div><div>Just starting to catch up on a serious backlog of Mythmail and saw a message about WinLIRC.  I hadn&#39;t heard of that before and had a question, if someone could be so kind as to clue me in.<br>
<br></div>Would this work if I plug an old USB IR Tx/Rx device in to my Win7 laptop and match it with the Microsoft media center IR remote that came with its own Tx/Rx (not something I want to lug around with a laptop on travel)?  If it affects the answer, the old USB IR device was originally for IRDA communication with a Palm PDA.<br>
