I'm using a minion-based error detection approach right now, where I'm the minion checking mythweb to see if I'm getting 0 byte recordings. Usually a one finger salute to restart the HDPVR gets things going again. Any automation would be really helpful.<br clear="all">

Mine went bad and caused instability in my HD-PVR for over a year, gradually getting worse and worse which would cause about 80% of my recordings to fail and required multiple power-cycles a day. I replaced the AC power adapter about 18 months ago and I've only had a single failure that required me to power-cycle the box sent. Many of the earlier ones had bad caps.<br>

<div class="gmail_extra">They are a 5v, 2amp adapter - you can also find them online. They actually sold some with a 3amp adapter... but, the vast majority were sent with a 2amp adapter, including the replacements.<br><br>
