FYI, I stuck the FLAC embedded art patch into a ticket here: http://code.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/11947 I modified the tagger factory in metaio.cpp a little bit so that it would prefer a FLAC tag but fall back to an ID3 (previously it would prefer ID3 but fall back to FLAC). Will you have a chance to see what's going on with the scanner?
Thanks,
Thanks the patch is committed with a few tweaks to the formatting to comply with our coding standards.
Still need to look at why rescanning isn't finding the embedded album art.

Hopefully the scanning thing is easy to find. I haven't looked into it much, but my initial impression is that scanning modified files doesn't pull in ANY changes, including the art. I'm pretty sure MusicBrainz changed the capitalization, etc. of some of my files, but I still see the original titles in MythMusic.
