Does it have an "exotic" cpu (like via's) ? Ubuntu 12.04 won't
install on some old hardware with cpus that don't support PAE.

It's a 32 bit

The machine is an Acer Aspire M5641. Mythbuntu 12.04.2 32 bit
install DVD.<br>
I'll check the disc again, but I installed from that particular
disc twice before on 32 bit boxes.<br>
